A simple and delicious slow cooker recipe for beef brisket.
Ingredients

- 3–4 lbs beef brisket
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
- Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Season the brisket with black pepper, smoked paprika, and cumin.
- Put the brisket on top of the onions and garlic.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
- Pour the mixture over the brisket.
- Add the bay leaf.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until tender.
Notes
- Let the brisket rest before slicing.
- Serve with your favorite sides.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
