Description
A delicious berry trifle layered with mascarpone cream.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package ladyfinger cookies
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Wash and prepare the berries.
- In a bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Whip the mixture until soft peaks form.
- In a trifle dish, layer ladyfingers at the bottom.
- Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the ladyfingers.
- Spoon a layer of the mascarpone whip over the berries.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with mascarpone on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Garnish with mint leaves before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh berries for the best flavor.
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Can be made a day ahead for convenience.
