Crispy fried okra made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 1 pound okra, sliced
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Dip okra slices in buttermilk, then coat with the cornmeal mixture.
- Place the coated okra in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove when golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
