- 1/2 cup butter, softened

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Divide the dough into two bowls. Color one orange and the other black.
- Roll out the dough and cut shapes using Halloween cookie cutters.
- Place cookies on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Let cool and decorate with sprinkles.
