Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup fresh berries
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour and mix until smooth.
- Fold in berries and chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with clotted cream and jam.
- Best enjoyed fresh.
- Can substitute berries with other fruits.
