Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup (optional)
  • Burger buns and toppings of choice (lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup (if using).
  2. Mix the ingredients gently until just combined. Be careful not to overwork the meat.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the burger patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not touching.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
  7. Remove the patties from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve on burger buns with your favorite toppings.
