Description
Deliciously seasoned beef wrapped in warm pita bread, topped with fresh veggies and tzatziki sauce, all made easily in the air fryer.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
- Form the beef mixture into small patties or strips.
- Place the beef patties or strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are fully cooked and browned.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare the pita wraps. Lay out each pita and spread a layer of tzatziki sauce on each.
- Once the beef is done, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the beef into strips and distribute evenly among the pitas.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, cucumber slices, and red onion.
- Drizzle additional tzatziki sauce over the top, fold the pitas, and serve.
Notes
- You can customize the toppings based on your preference. Try adding feta cheese or olives for extra flavor.
- If you have leftover beef, it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
