Description

Deliciously seasoned beef wrapped in warm pita bread, topped with fresh veggies and tzatziki sauce, all made easily in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
  3. Form the beef mixture into small patties or strips.
  4. Place the beef patties or strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are fully cooked and browned.
  5. While the beef is cooking, prepare the pita wraps. Lay out each pita and spread a layer of tzatziki sauce on each.
  6. Once the beef is done, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Slice the beef into strips and distribute evenly among the pitas.
  8. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, cucumber slices, and red onion.
  9. Drizzle additional tzatziki sauce over the top, fold the pitas, and serve.
