Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Place the meatballs in the basket in a single layer, making sure they are not touching.
  5. Air fry the meatballs at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
  6. While the meatballs are cooking, heat the tomato sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in Italian seasoning and let it simmer.
  7. Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to the saucepan with the tomato sauce and stir to combine.
  8. Serve the meatballs in tomato sauce over pasta or on their own.
