Description
Delicious and easy Air Fryer Beef Taco Bowls, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Loaded with seasoned ground beef, fresh toppings, and served over rice or lettuce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cooked rice or lettuce for base
- 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup corn, drained
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning according to the package instructions. If needed, add a little water to help combine.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare your bowls by adding a base of cooked rice or shredded lettuce to each bowl.
- Once the beef is seasoned, use the air fryer to crisp up the beef. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil and add the seasoned beef. Air fry for 5-7 minutes until slightly crispy.
- Remove the beef from the air fryer and assemble the taco bowls: top the rice or lettuce with black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, and the crispy beef.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, then add sour cream, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Air Fryer Beef Taco Bowls!
Notes
- Feel free to customize toppings according to your preference, such as jalapeños, salsa, or diced onions.
- You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
