Description
Crispy and juicy chicken cutlets made effortlessly in the air fryer. Perfect for a quick dinner or a delicious lunch!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the flour in a shallow dish. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs. In a third dish, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip in the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Spray both sides of the cutlets with olive oil spray.
- Place the chicken cutlets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite seasoning or buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
- Feel free to add herbs or spices to the breadcrumb mixture for a personalized touch.
- If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook the chicken in batches.
