- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large pita breads or wraps
- 1 cup lettuce, chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup hummus or tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them well with the spice mixture.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice golden-brown exterior.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.
- To assemble the wraps, spread hummus or tzatziki sauce on each pita, add lettuce, diced tomato, cucumber, red onion, and sliced chicken.
