Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
- Wash and dry the apples. Remove the cores and slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick). You can use a mandoline for even slices.
- In a bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar (if using). Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the apple slices and toss to coat.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with oil to prevent sticking.
- Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overlapping to ensure even cooking.
- Air fry the apple slices for 15-20 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning. They should be crispy and lightly browned.
- Once done, remove the apple chips from the air fryer and let them cool completely. They will become crispier as they cool.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
