Ingredients

  • 2 Duck breasts (Boneless, skin-on)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper (Freshly ground)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme (Dried or fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil (For brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Score the skin of the duck breasts in a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat.
  3. Rub the duck breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme, ensuring the seasoning is well distributed.
  4. Brush the skin side of the duck breasts with olive oil.
  5. Place the duck breasts skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the duck breasts and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
  7. Remove the duck from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, you can cook the duck breasts skin-side down for the first half of the cooking time.
  • Adjust cooking time based on your preferred doneness: 125°F (52°C) for rare, 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare, and 145°F (63°C) for medium.
