Ingredients

- 1 bunch Fresh kale (washed and thoroughly dried)
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil (or any preferred cooking oil)
- to taste Salt (sea salt or kosher salt recommended)
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder (optional for seasoning)
- 1 tablespoon Nutritional yeast (optional for a cheesy flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove the kale leaves from the stems and tear them into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, toss the kale pieces with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle salt, garlic powder, and nutritional yeast over the kale, tossing again to distribute the seasonings.
- Place the kale in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the kale is crispy and slightly browned.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the kale is completely dry before adding oil to prevent sogginess.
