Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil (or any preferred cooking oil)

  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder (optional for seasoning)
  • 1 tablespoon Nutritional yeast (optional for a cheesy flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Remove the kale leaves from the stems and tear them into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the kale pieces with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle salt, garlic powder, and nutritional yeast over the kale, tossing again to distribute the seasonings.
  5. Place the kale in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  6. Air fry for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the kale is crispy and slightly browned.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
