Description

Deliciously crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these Air Fryer Crispy Polenta Bites are the perfect snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup polenta
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
  2. Gradually whisk in the polenta, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Cook for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the polenta into a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
  5. Once firm, cut the polenta into bite-sized squares or shapes.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Spray the polenta bites lightly with olive oil spray on both sides.
  8. Working in batches, place the polenta bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  9. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  10. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
