Description

This crispy tofu is perfectly seasoned and air-fried to golden perfection, tossed in a delicious sesame sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into cubes or triangles, depending on your preference.
  3. In a bowl, toss the tofu with soy sauce, sesame oil, olive oil, cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Place the tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches.
  5. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until the tofu is golden and crispy.
  6. Once cooked, remove the tofu and toss with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the tofu in soy sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Serve with rice or salad for a complete meal.
