Ingredients

  • 1 pound white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Dip each fish fillet first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the coated fish fillets in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until the fish is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. While the fish is cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing sour cream, lime juice, and hot sauce in a small bowl.
  9. Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
  10. Assemble the tacos by placing pieces of fish on the tortillas, topping with cabbage, tomatoes, cilantro, and avocado.
  11. Drizzle with the sour cream sauce and serve with lime wedges.
