A quick and easy recipe for tender tilapia fillets seasoned with lemon and herbs, cooked to perfection in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the tilapia fillets in a large resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the fish. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, up to 1 hour.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove the tilapia from the marinade and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Discard the marinade.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the tilapia is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • You can substitute tilapia with any white fish of your choice.
  • Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
  • For a little kick, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
