- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh lemon wedges for serving
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket skin side down. Make sure they are not overcrowded and have space for air to circulate.
- Cook for 25 minutes, flipping the chicken thighs halfway through the cooking time.
- Check the internal temperature of the chicken with a meat thermometer; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Once cooked, remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve with fresh lemon wedges and garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, you can increase the cooking time by a few minutes, but keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
- Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your taste. You can add more lemon pepper if you like a stronger flavor.
- These chicken thighs pair well with a variety of sides such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
