Description

A quick and easy recipe for making flavorful and spicy paneer tikka in an air fryer, perfect for a healthy snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 250g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup thick yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, cut into cubes
  • Skewers (soaked in water if wooden)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine thick yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to form a marinade.
  2. Add the paneer cubes, bell pepper, and onion to the marinade. Toss gently to coat all the pieces evenly. Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Thread the marinated paneer, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers.
  5. Place the skewers in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve hot with mint chutney.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of chaat masala before serving.
  • If you want a smoky flavor, you can use a piece of hot charcoal in the marination bowl covered with a lid for a few minutes.
