Ingredients
Scale
- 250g paneer, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup thick yogurt
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 bell pepper, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, cut into cubes
- Skewers (soaked in water if wooden)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine thick yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to form a marinade.
- Add the paneer cubes, bell pepper, and onion to the marinade. Toss gently to coat all the pieces evenly. Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes.
- Thread the marinated paneer, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers.
- Place the skewers in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve hot with mint chutney.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of chaat masala before serving.
- If you want a smoky flavor, you can use a piece of hot charcoal in the marination bowl covered with a lid for a few minutes.
