These Air Fryer Smashed Potatoes are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, making for the perfect side dish!
Ingredients

- 1 lb baby potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Boil the baby potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let them cool slightly.
- Once cooled, place the potatoes on a cutting board and gently smash them with the bottom of a glass or potato masher.
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the smashed potatoes with the olive oil mixture on both sides.
- Place the smashed potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10-15 minutes, until crispy and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite seasonings or cheese for extra flavor.
