- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups fresh spinach, washed and dried
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
- Place the spiced chickpeas in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden and crispy.
- In the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, add the fresh spinach to the air fryer basket. Shake to combine with the chickpeas.
- Once done, remove from the air fryer and serve immediately as a side or snack.
