Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to make the teriyaki marinade.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove salmon from the marinade and reserve the marinade.
- In a small saucepan, bring the reserved marinade to a simmer over medium heat. Add the cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin side down. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Brush the thickened teriyaki sauce over the salmon during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
