Description

This Air Fryer Teriyaki Salmon is a quick and easy dish that’s packed with flavor. The salmon fillets are marinated in a delicious homemade teriyaki sauce and cooked to perfection in the air fryer, resulting in a tender and flaky texture with a glossy glaze.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to make the teriyaki marinade.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove salmon from the marinade and reserve the marinade.
  5. In a small saucepan, bring the reserved marinade to a simmer over medium heat. Add the cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  6. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin side down. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Brush the thickened teriyaki sauce over the salmon during the last few minutes of cooking.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
