Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion for topping
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Your favorite condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Shape the ground beef into 4 equal patties and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a separate skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  5. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheese on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the burgers reach desired doneness.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
