Description

  • 12 large jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 slices of bacon, cut in half
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños are tender.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
