Ingredients

- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, cheese, chives
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Scrub the potatoes under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a towel.
- Poke several holes in each potato with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- Rub the potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
- Air fry the potatoes for 35-40 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time.
- Check the doneness by inserting a fork or knife into the center; it should slide in easily.
- Once done, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Serve with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the potatoes.
- For extra crispy skin, you can increase the temperature to 425°F (220°C) for the last 5 minutes.
