This Chicken Parmesan is crispy, cheesy, and served alongside a rich and creamy fettuccine Alfredo for the perfect Italian comfort meal.

- 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup bread crumbs (Italian seasoned)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 1/4 cup olive oil (for frying)
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup additional Parmesan cheese (for Alfredo)
- 2 tbsp parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the bread crumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, top with shredded mozzarella cheese, and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
- While the chicken is baking, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in additional Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss to combine.
- Serve the chicken parmesan over the creamy fettuccine Alfredo and garnish with chopped parsley.
