Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and blueberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the fresh blueberries and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the blueberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the skins.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  5. Serve the blueberry lemonade over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and whole blueberries.

Notes

  • For a fizzy version, substitute cold sparkling water for still water.
