Description
A refreshing iced tea infused with the soothing flavor of lemon verbena, perfect for hot days.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Lemon verbena leaves
- 4 cups Water
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Lemon juice
- as needed Ice cubes
- for garnish Lemon slices
Instructions
- In a heatproof pitcher, add the lemon verbena leaves.
- Pour the boiling water over the leaves and steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the leaves from the tea and add sugar while the tea is still warm, stirring until dissolved.
- Stir in the lemon juice and let the tea cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate until chilled, about 1-2 hours.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.
Notes
- For a sweeter tea, add more sugar to taste.
- You can substitute honey or agave syrup for sugar if preferred.
