Instructions

  1. In a large jar or pitcher, combine the coarsely ground coffee and cold water.
  2. Stir gently to ensure all the coffee grounds are saturated.
  3. Cover the jar or pitcher and let it steep at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours, depending on your desired strength.
  4. After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or a coffee filter into a clean jar or pitcher to remove the coffee grounds.
  5. Serve the cold brew coffee over ice, diluted with water or milk to taste if desired.
