Ingredients

- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2–3 fresh jalapeños, seeded and chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, jalapeños, garlic, lime juice, salt, black pepper, and cumin.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- If desired, stir in chopped cilantro for extra flavor.
- Transfer the sauce to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve with chips, tacos, or as a dressing for salads.
Notes
- For a spicier sauce, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
- This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
