Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Place the breaded chicken in the basket in a single layer.
- Air fry the chicken for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- In the last few minutes of cooking, top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese, and continue cooking until the cheese is melted.
- Drizzle the cooked spaghetti with olive oil and toss to combine.
- Serve the crispy chicken Parmesan on a bed of golden spaghetti, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
- For extra crunch, you can coat the chicken breast in flour before dipping in egg and breadcrumbs.
- Feel free to add other seasonings to the breadcrumb mixture, such as paprika or cayenne for a kick.
- You can make the marinara sauce from scratch or use store-bought for convenience.
