- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine lemon zest, lemon juice, and fresh parsley. Pour over the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with the pan juices spooned over the chicken.
