Description
A quick and healthy stir fry featuring tender chicken and crunchy cabbage, served with fragrant steamed jasmine rice.

- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
- 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups cooked jasmine rice
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Green onions, sliced for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken and stir fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir fry for another minute.
- Add the shredded cabbage, bell pepper, and carrots. Stir fry until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using). Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes, adjusting seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and toss to coat.
- Serve the stir fry over steamed jasmine rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
