- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and cheese for toppings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into 4 equal patties.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil.
- Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Toast hamburger buns in the same skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on the bun and adding lettuce, tomato, and cheese as desired.
