  • Author: ushinzomr

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 12 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion for toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, diced onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Brush the cooked patties with barbecue sauce during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  7. Serve on hamburger buns with lettuce, tomato, and onion.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the seasonings to your taste.
  • You can grill the patties instead of baking them for a smoky flavor.
  • Make extra patties and freeze them for future gatherings.
