Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken pieces to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Meanwhile, steam the broccoli florets until bright green and tender, about 4-5 minutes.
- To assemble the bowls, divide the cooked rice among serving bowls.
- Top the rice with the teriyaki chicken and steamed broccoli.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
