Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, and ginger.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil.
  4. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Flip the salmon and pour the honey garlic sauce over the fillets.
  6. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce, until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
  7. Remove from heat and let rest for a couple of minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh salmon fillets.
