- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, and ginger.
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil.
- Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
- Flip the salmon and pour the honey garlic sauce over the fillets.
- Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce, until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh salmon fillets.
- You can marinate the salmon in the honey garlic mixture for 30 minutes before cooking for extra flavor.
- Serve with steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
