Deliciously spicy and cheesy, these jalapeño poppers are the perfect appetizer for any gathering.

- 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and bacon (if using). Mix until well combined.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, pressing down to pack it in.
- Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top of each stuffed jalapeño.
- Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray to help them brown.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
