Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Cooked rice or lettuce leaves for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
  2. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes to the skillet, stirring to combine.
