Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 cups chili (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry.

- Spread the fries on a baking sheet and top with chili and shredded cheese. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with sour cream. Top with green onions, cilantro, and jalapeño slices if using.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Loaded Chili Cheese Fries!
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, use a meatless chili.
- Feel free to customize with additional toppings like diced tomatoes, olives, or avocado.
