Deliciously cheesy and meaty, these loaded nachos feature tender birria beef topped with all your favorite nacho toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb birria beef, cooked and shredded
  • 8 oz tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup pickled red onions
  • 1/4 cup birria consomé (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
  3. Layer the refried beans over the tortilla chips.
  4. Add the shredded birria beef on top of the beans.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the beef.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with diced tomatoes, jalapeños, cilantro, sour cream, avocado, and pickled red onions.
  8. Drizzle with birria consomé before serving.
