This melt in your mouth chicken recipe is tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and ensure they are fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In another bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, thyme, and rosemary.
  4. Remove chicken from the buttermilk marinade and allow excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.
  5. Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle melted butter over the top of each piece.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
