- 4 large croissants
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (120g) pistachio paste
- 1/4 cup (50g) powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Chopped pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, pistachio paste, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Using a whisk or an electric mixer, whip the mixture until it reaches stiff peaks.
- Carefully slice each croissant in half horizontally.
- Generously fill each croissant with the pistachio cream mixture.
- Place the filled croissants on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped pistachios before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute store-bought pistachio cream for homemade pistachio paste.
- For an extra touch, drizzle melted chocolate over the filled croissants.
