A delicious and easy shrimp boil recipe perfect for gatherings and summer cookouts.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, deveined
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 pound corn on the cob, cut into thirds
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil.
  2. Add the Old Bay seasoning, garlic, and lemon halves to the boiling water.
  3. Add the potatoes and cook for 10-15 minutes until tender.
  4. Add the corn and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Finally, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Drain the pot and return the shrimp, potatoes, and corn to the pot.
  7. Add the butter and toss to coat. Season with salt to taste.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
