  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

A creamy and flavorful smoked cream cheese dip perfect for your next gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add in the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce (if using). Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a heatproof dish or a cast iron skillet.
  5. Place the dish in the smoker and smoke for about 1 hour, or until the dip is heated through and slightly bubbly.
  6. Remove from the smoker and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the dip with your favorite spices or add-ins, such as cooked bacon or jalapeños.
  • For a thicker dip, reduce the amount of sour cream.
  • This dip can be made ahead of time and reheated in the smoker or oven.
