This Soft and Fluffy Focaccia Bread is herb-topped and oven-fresh, perfect for dipping in olive oil or enjoying on its own. It’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil, plus more for drizzling
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sea salt, for topping
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar.
- Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, and mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease a baking sheet with olive oil and transfer the risen dough onto it, spreading it out gently with your fingers.
- Using your fingers, make dimples all over the surface of the dough.
- Drizzle more olive oil over the dough, sprinkle with chopped rosemary and sea salt.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, try using different herbs like thyme or oregano.
- This bread is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a couple of days.
