Description

A creamy and spicy pasta dish that combines the rich flavors of vodka sauce with a hint of heat, perfect for a comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz Pasta
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup Vodka
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for another minute, mixing well.
  4. Pour in the vodka and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes, reducing slightly.
  5. Lower the heat and add the heavy cream, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
