- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sprinkles
- as needed non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture, stirring until well combined.
- Fold in the sprinkles gently to avoid breaking them.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it down evenly using a spatula or wax paper.
- Allow the mixture to cool for about 30 minutes.
- Once cooled, use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out star shapes from the treats.
