Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles
  • as needed non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture, stirring until well combined.
  6. Fold in the sprinkles gently to avoid breaking them.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it down evenly using a spatula or wax paper.
  8. Allow the mixture to cool for about 30 minutes.
  9. Once cooled, use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out star shapes from the treats.
