- 4 cups Water
- 4 Black tea bags
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- for serving Ice
- for garnish (optional) Lemon slices
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Remove the water from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the granulated sugar until dissolved.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices if desired.
Notes
- For a sweeter tea, adjust the sugar to taste.
- You can also add mint leaves for a refreshing twist.
